The rental car companies available at the airport are located in a separate consolidated car rental facility located off airport grounds. There are complimentary shuttle buses available for all rental car customers between the main terminal and the car rental facility.

The shuttles depart from the door across from baggage claim Door 7 while they arrive at Door 4 on arrivals level. Travelers can use the elevators or escalators to access other levels of the airport.

The shuttle ride takes approximately 5-7 minutes one-way and buses run continuously 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Buses at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport

There are no buses servicing the airport, but there are bus services from Tower City Station which can be reached by RTA Red Line transit train located on the lower level of the airport.

Greyhound buses can be reached via a 20 minute walk from Tower City Station or through one of the buses frequenting both Tower City Station and the area surrounding the Greyhound Bus Station.

Trains at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport

Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority, RTA, operates a rapid transit train, and bus system in Cleveland, including the Red Line that services the airport.

The Airport Station is located on the lower level of the airport terminal, reachable through the elevators or the escalators. Look for signs leading the way.

Tickets or passes are purchased in the TVMs (Ticket Vending Machines) at the station.

Transfers to other RTA lines, including buses, is possible at Tower City Station and it is recommended to purchase a 5-trip pass for this occasion as it includes free transfers.

Taxis at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport

The taxi cabs servicing the airport are white and will come from one out of three taxi companies. A representative for the companies will be greeting customers at the south entrance to assist with assigning a taxi cab.
